Three more lovely Pineapple quilts! Making these three quilts has kept me busy for a while but it’s been fun to make them. I love these Civil War Reproduction fabric colors and love the classic pineapple block pattern as well. I did mix it up a little by bordering each with a different style block.All three quilts sold on ebay,but I’m sure I will be making more.Please keep watching eBay for more “scrappy pineapple quilts”.
After the three tops were pieced I decided to finish all the quilts the same. I used a green cotton print fabric reminiscent of the Civil War era for the backs. I machine quilted all three in an abstract all over,edge to edge design with black thread.The binding on each is black with assorted color stripes. I have made these style quilts before.
