4 Scrappy Lap Quilts

Four different pre-cuts packs and four different block patterns makes a nice little group of quilts. Each quilt top was made using one pre-cuts pack of batik fabric plus some batiks from my stash. The quilts all ended up as nice lap sizes around 48”x64”. I love how they all came out so different. I’m sure I will be making more in different colors and different patterns. I’m a work from home long arm quilter/quiltmaker.I learned to sew on my Nana’s treadle machine when I was around 8 yrs old but didn’t start making quilts til much later in life.I’m mostly self taught and have been making quilts for 30+ years.I enjoy making scrappy quilts and love working with batiks,but I have a fondness for antique reproduction fabrics as well.I tend to work with more traditional style block patterns but I put my own spin on them with use of fabric choices.I also do some pantograph quilting for people who want their tops finished into quilts.
