The first two quilts sold rather quickly so I thought I’d make another one. I’ve stayed with using the Civil War Reproduction style fabrics,I love the rich assortment of colors they offer. Once again I made a variety of block styles and sizes and put them together in a puzzle layout. This lap sized quilt measures 46”x55” and I have included a 2” hanging sleeve for anyone who might like to hang it. This quilt sold via private sale.
I’m a work from home long arm quilter/quiltmaker.I learned to sew on my Nana’s treadle machine when I was around 8 yrs old but didn’t start making quilts til much later in life.I’m mostly self taught and have been making quilts for 30+ years.I enjoy making scrappy quilts and love working with batiks, but I have a fondness for antique reproduction fabrics as well.I tend to work with more traditional style block patterns but I put my own spin on them with use of fabric choices.I also do some pantograph quilting for people who want their tops finished into quilts.
