The Bear Paw block is a favorite old time quilt design and one I’ve made often and in many different colors. This time I chose a classic combination of blue and white. This large quilt measures 88” x 102” generous enough for a queen sized bed. This quilt sold via private sale.
I’m a work from home long arm quilter/quiltmaker.I learned to sew on my Nana’s treadle machine when I was around 8 yrs old but didn’t start making quilts til much later in life.I’m mostly self taught and have been making quilts for 30+ years.I enjoy making scrappy quilts and love working with batiks,but I have a fondness for antique reproduction fabrics as well.I tend to work with more traditional style block patterns but I put my own spin on them with use of fabric choices.I also do some pantograph quilting for people who want their tops finished into quilts.
