Four quilts, four different color ways. I originally set out to make the Golden Retriever quilt in the Sawtooth Star block pattern but had so much fun with it that I ended up making three more quilts in other colors. The cats and dogs theme seemed a natural so I dipped into my stash of those types of fabrics and ended up with some cheerful quilts. These quilts are up for sale on http://www.eBay.com ,please search for “cat star quilts “ or “dog star quilts” to find them.
The design I used to quilt all four quilts is a fun all over edged to edge paws and hearts design. I think it worked well on all of the quilts.

I’m a work from home long arm quilter/quiltmaker.I learned to sew on my Nana’s treadle machine when I was around 8 yrs old but didn’t start making quilts til much later in life.I’m mostly self taught and have been making quilts for 30+ years.I enjoy making scrappy quilts and love working with batiks, but I have a fondness for antique reproduction fabrics as well.I tend to work with more traditional style block patterns but I put my own spin on them with use of fabric choices.I also do some pantograph quilting for people who want their tops finished into quilts.
