I enjoy making scrappy quilts and working with batiks. The quilt I’m working on uses an assortment of cool colors in contrasting groups of light and dark. The block is made up of square patches of two sizes.Placement of the contrasting colors will bring out the design in this simple block.

I’m a work from home long arm quilter/quiltmaker.I learned to sew on my Nana’s treadle machine when I was around 8 yrs old but didn’t start making quilts til much later in life.I’m mostly self taught and have been making quilts for 30+ years.I enjoy making scrappy quilts and love working with batiks, but I have a fondness for antique reproduction fabrics as well.I tend to work with more traditional style block patterns but I put my own spin on them with use of fabric choices.I also do some pantograph quilting for people who want their tops finished into quilts.
